Welcome to the MIA Awards
The Music Industries Association, in partnership with NAMM, are delighted once again to announce the MIA Music Awards 2012. The awards have become a major celebration for the whole industry, honouring the best selling and most reliable and innovative products and retail initiatives in the UK and celebrating the top individuals and organisations within the musical instrument industry.
In what has been another challenging year for the industry the MIA Music Awards provided a much needed opportunity to acknowledge the professionals and organisations who continue to drive forward creativity and innovation.
The awards ceremony, supported by our media partners Classic FM, Future Publishing and MIPro, took place at The Emirates Stadium, London on Thursday 22 November 2012.
The awards featured 21 categories in total celebrating and rewarding success throughout our industry.
In a departure from previous years and for the first time instrument manufacturers as well as retailers were able to nominate themselves for entry into the awards. The winners of the majority of the categories were decided by online public or retailer vote through our media partners.
